A week after Apple’s App Store launched, Jane Ballantine, founded Limitless learning Limited in London, England. Having worked in educational publishing for four years, she wanted to build a company that took a different approach to the creation of learning materials – a company that wouldn’t be afraid to embrace technology or challenge students to think more deeply about the information that’s presented to them.
Although she had been thinking about creating mobile educational games since 2004, it wasn’t until the App Store launched that she decided the time was right to “give it a go”.
